Contribution by NRL In the year 2019, the magnificent Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. (NRL) contributed an amount of Rs. 45,00,000 for the beautification of the historic Mahabhairab Temple. Asom Darshan Infrastructure Development Grant In the year 2020, An amount of Rs. 10,00,000 was granted to the temple under 'Asom Darshan Infrastructure Development Grant' headed by the Transportation and Development Department, Government of Assam. The scheme was introduced in 2019-20 to preserve the heritage and culture of places of historical and religious importance in the state. Under the scheme in 2020, 915 religious institutions (including Mahabhairab Temple) received financial grants worth Rs 10 lakh each.

Untied Fund Scheme On 17.06.2021, the Mahabhairab Temple received an aid of Rs 25,00,000 under the Untied Fund Scheme. It is noteworthy to mention that Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur, Sri Bhupesh Ch. Das has enormous efforts to get the amount released. Since various documentation works were pending and as the entire world during the year was under the dilemma of Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Das, besides all other essential routine works, has fast tracked the process to get the amount released from the Govt., which is highly appreciable on part of a DC. The grant was received under the tenure of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
